Friends of Slaithwaite Millpond

Working to Restore Our Local Heritage

Who are Friends of Slaithwaite Millpond?

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to restoring a previously forgotten millpond situated within the village of Slaithwaite within the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, in West Yorkshire.

As Friends of Slaithwaite Millpond our mission is to;

The millpond is overgrown and in need of some TLC!

Can you help us to create a wildlife haven and bring the millpond back to life?

There is huge potential to create a community wildlife haven through the regeneration of a relic of Slaithwaite’s industrial past!
